We Are OPEN for URGENT Chiropractic Care only.

The Department of Health and Human Services and the Victoria Government has confirmed that from 17th August 2021 we can only face to face services for Chiropractic for URGENT care.

Allied health professionals working in private or public community services, whether clinic-based or home-based, are able to provide ‘URGENT clinical care’ where telehealth services are not clinically appropriate.

The Department of Health has clarified the difference between URGENT clinical care and routine care.

For the purpose of the current lockdown, URGENT clinical care is defined as follows:

Direct clinical care (and other clinical support activity necessary to support direct clinical care) that prevents a significant change/deterioration in functional independence necessitating escalation of care OR is required as an adjunct to other urgent medical/surgical interventions

For example, urgent clinical care;

• that avoids a potential hospital admission or emergency department presentation

• that prevents/delays the need for further specialist medical or surgical intervention

• that prevents an increase in care needs that would necessitate additional carer supports or change in accommodation needs

• that limits secondary complications post surgery

• where deferral would lead to long term adverse consequences (ie. delays to child development)

This means routine chiropractic care WILL BE NOT PERMITTED.

If you do attend in person you will be required to wear a mask on-site and check in with our QR code when you arrive.

Unfortunately Remedial Massage will also have to stop.

We are following all DHHS health recommendations and have a thorough COVID SAFE plan in place.

Information about Victoria’s current restriction levels are set out on the website of the Department of Health and Human Services here.

IMPORTANT NOTE
