From Friday 22nd October 2021 we can return to routine care for Chiropractic and Massage Patients.

As per the roadmap of opening and following the Premier’s announcement (on 17/10/2021) of further easing of restrictions for metro Melbourne aligned to achievement of 70% full vaccination, effective of 11.59pm Thursday 21 October,  private practice allied health services will be able to resume routine care (including group interventions) with density quotients/COVIDSafe plans in place.

THIS MEANS FROM FRIDAY 22nd October ROUTINE clinical care can resume. This means there are no restrictions to you coming for Chiropractic or Massage Therapy unless you are experiencing covid like symptoms, have been noted as a primary close contact, are isolating, or awaiting Covid results.

Remedial Massage will be allowed to resume from Friday 22nd October 2021. If you have an appointment booked with us we will be in touch to confirm if you still would like to keep this appointment.

We are following all DHHS health recommendations and have a thorough COVID SAFE plan in place. If you attend in person you will be required to wear a mask on-site and check in with our QR code when you arrive.

At this stage, it is our understanding that we can see patients irrespective of their vaccination status. We understand this has become a topical issue, however access to health care is a human right and we feel strongly that all people should be able to get the care they need. This is also in keeping with all current legislation and mandates in effect. We are exceeding the recommended levels of cleaning, personal protective equipment and covid-19 protocols. If you would like to discuss this in more detail you are welcome to contact Greer on [email protected]

Information about Victoria’s current restriction levels are set out on the website of the Department of Health and Human Services here.

FROM October 2021-December 2021 our team will be splitting into two teams. Even though we are doing everything in our power to keep everyone safe and following every Covid Safe rule there is always a small risk for a positive case coming onsite. In this unlikely event, having two teams will mean that only one team will have to isolate while DHHS undertakes their risk assessment and the other team can continue to care for the patients that need our care.

IMPORTANT NOTE

It is very important that if you are not feeling well (especially fever, sore throat, headache or cough) or believe you may have been exposed to Covid19 that you DO NOT attend the clinic in person and refer to your GP or call the Covid Hotline on 1800 675 398 to be tested.
