Kristine Jeremiah – Remedial Massage Therapist

I am a proud member of the Massage & Myotherapy Australia association and have been a part of the WCHG team since 2006. I feel a real connection to Williamstown, as for generations my family has lived and operated businesses within this community. After a career in optics and then banking, I became a remedial massage therapist because I love caring for people and helping them on their path to better health and a happier life.

Remedial massage is used for many reasons and I apply my craft accordingly, whether it be for injury recovery, sports, general maintenance or relaxation. The benefits can not only be felt physically but also emotionally.

It is important to me to make my clients feel comfortable and fulfil their expectations on each and every visit.

Please feel free to grab me for a chat anytime to see how I may help you achieve better health.

I have worked in the complimentary health industry as a Remedial Massage Therapist for almost 10 years. Throughout my career, I have worked in sports injury clinics, in the corporate sector, completed a season as a sports trainer and worked as a clinic manager.

I have a passion for helping others regain control over their musculoskeletal health and overall well-being. Recently I have studied NST Bowen Therapy, a gentle therapy which works to restore the structural integrity of the body via stimulation of the nervous system. Hence a perfect treatment to incorporate with Remedial Massage.

Some of the conditions I can treat using these techniques are; neck and back pain, headaches and whiplash, overuse injuries, leg, knee, ankle and foot conditions, shoulder, elbow and wrist conditions, menstrual conditions, digestives conditions, and pregnancy massage.

I have been an active person my whole life, growing up playing and being involved in basketball. I was surrounded by talented people, building on teamwork with moments of leadership by captaining and coaching. It was only fitting that I follow that passion by finding my dream career in massage therapy.

Initially I completed my Personal Trainers course, followed by extending my studies to become a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist and then Myotherapist, graduating in 2016. I have gained a lot of clinical experience since then, while building a rapport with clients of all shapes and sizes, different backgrounds and lifestyles, acute and chronic pain, children to elderly, athletes and non-athletes.

I aim to be the best therapist that I can be within my scope of practice. I am a proud member of Australia’s natural therapy association (ANTA) where I use soft tissue techniques and dry needling to treat my clients.
